Field Trips

Field trips are a living laboratory where scholars learn through active, hands-on experiences with the rich resources of our local community. Our Scholars travel throughout the Cleveland area to expand their learning through many field trips. Field trips enable our teachers to expand our scholar’s learning beyond the walls of the classroom into the community outside of the classroom. These experiences give our scholars experiences that cannot be duplicated in the classroom.

Examples of fields trips and community based learning include:
  • Cleveland Metroparks Zoo
  • Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
  • Cleveland Aquarium
  • Cleveland Public Library Main Branch
  • Playhouse Square
  • Hale Farm
  • Natural History Museum
  • Cleveland Metroparks Canal
  • Western Reserve Historical Society
  • Lake Farm Park
  • Great Lakes Science Center
  • Clevleand Musem of Art
  • Shaker Lakes Nature Center
